21 Goan Senior Citizens Begin Pandharpur Yatra from Mapusa Under Tirthatan Sanstha
MAPUSA: In a spiritually uplifting moment, 21 senior citizens from Goa, aged between 55 to 85 years, embarked on the Pandharpur Yatra today, 18th July, from Shree Bodgeshwar Temple, Mapusa. The pilgrimage is being organized by Tirthatan Sanstha, the only organization in Goa dedicated to taking Goan senior citizens on Tirtha Yatra to holy shrines across India. The yatris were given a ceremonial send-off with prayers for a safe and blessed journey . Tirthatan Sanstha said the initiative aims to provide elderly devotees an opportunity to visit sacred destinations with dignity, care, and community support.Family members and well-wishers gathered to bless the pilgrims before departure.
