Chapora’s Sandesh Pednekar Scales 19,849-ft Yalung Peak in Ladakh
Sandesh Pednekar from Chapora–Anjuna has successfully summited Yalung Peak (19,849 ft / 6,050 m) in Ladakh on 10 July 2026, overcoming harsh weather, continuous rain, and heavy snowfall.
Describing the expedition as one of the toughest challenges of his life, Sandesh said the summit tested him physically and mentally, but with faith, determination, and the support of his guides, he achieved the feat.He expressed gratitude to Delilah Lobo, Michael Lobo, and Mayur Sawkar for supporting and sponsoring the expedition. He also thanked White Expedition, Ricky Sir, and his guides for their guidance and unwavering support throughout the climb.
