Saunta Vaddo, Calangute emerged champions of the 1st Inter-Ward Football Tournament organised by Rising Youth of Calangute, defeating Mainath Bhatti, Arpora 3-0 in the final at Nagoa Futsal Arena. The tournament was held on July 4 and 5.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Chief Guest Michael Lobo. Guests included Arpora VP Sarpanch Sushma Nagvekar, Candolim Panch Dinesh Morajkar, Calangute BJP Mandal President Samir Chodankar, and others. The tournament was mentored by Krunal Nanodkar, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha.
