CM Sawant Presents Goa Union of Journalists Awards for 2023, 2024 & 2025, Lauds Media’s Role in Democracy

Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Tuesday  presented the Goa Union of Journalists Journalism Awards for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025 at a ceremony organized by GUJ in collaboration with the Department of Information and Publicity at Institute Menezes Braganza Conference Hall, Panaji.Speaking at the function, the CM said the awards celebrate excellence, dedication and impactful contributions to journalism in Goa. He lauded the media fraternity for its role in strengthening democracy and keeping citizens informed.The triple-year awards function was held to recognize journalists whose work made a significant impact during 2023-2025.

Calangute MLA & GSIDC Chairman Michael Lobo, Rajdeep Builders & Real Estate Pvt. Ltd. Founder & Chairman  Rajesh Tarkar, Panchamruth Industries Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director Jambu Hosmani were present as guests of honour. GUJ office bearers including President Rajtilak Naik, General Secretary  Vasudev Pagi and Treasurer Amresh Parab, along with senior journalists and DIP officials also attended the event.
