Arpora, Goa — Four vehicles were damaged on sunday  evening after a large Bhendi tree fell near Renton Manor Resort in Arpora, officials said. The incident occurred at 17:21 HRS when the tree collapsed onto the vehicles parked along the roadside. No injuries were reported in the incident.Fire & Emergency Services personnel from Mapusa station responded to the call and reached the spot to clear the fallen tree and assess the situation. The incident was conveyed to Shri P J Kannaik, Sub Officer, Mapusa Fire Station, who supervised the rescue and clearance operations.

Local residents and motorists were temporarily inconvenienced as the fallen tree blocked part of the road. Fire officials, with assistance from locals, worked to remove debris and restore normal traffic movement.Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious during windy and rainy conditions and report any unstable or old trees near roads and residential areas to the panchayat or Forest Department to prevent similar incidents.Police have recorded the incident for insurance and damage assessment purposes.
