Art Meets Awareness: Artwork Highlights ‘Green Goa, Clean Goa’ Message in Campaign Support

Panaji: Goa — An eye-catching artwork supporting the Goa Government’s ongoing ‘Green Goa, Clean Goa’ campaign was unveiled today, drawing attention to the importance of trees in everyday life. The piece was created to amplify public awareness as the State’s 90-day drive, inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, continues across panchayats and wards.

The artwork depicts trees as essential to Goa’s environment, health, and quality of life, aligning with the campaign’s core message of increasing green cover and promoting cleanliness. Organizers said the visual display is intended to connect with citizens, especially youth, and encourage participation in plantation and waste-management activities at the grassroots level.

“Art has the power to make people pause and reflect. Through this work, we’re reminding everyone that trees aren’t just part of the landscape – they clean our air, cool our streets, and protect Goa’s future,” the artist shared.
