Calangute Association Clinch 2nd Siolim Villagers Cup With 3-1 Win Over FC Siolim*
Calangute: Calangute Association Team were crowned champions of the 2nd Siolim Villagers Cup 2026 after a commanding 3-1 victory over FC Siolim in the final held at St. Anthony Church Grounds on Sunday evening.
Calangute broke the deadlock early with a clinical finish inside the box and doubled their lead before halftime through a well-worked set-piece. FC Siolim pulled one back after the break with a quick counter-attack, but Calangute sealed the result late on, exploiting space on the wings and slotting home on the break to make it 3-1.
Organized by siolim villagers , the Inter Village Football Tournament drew strong local support. The final showcased Goa’s grassroots football talent, with Calangute Association dominating possession and showing composure in the final third to seal the title.
