Goa CM meets Modi with family, says it’s emotional moment for his father
PANAJI: (May 27) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi along with his family, and said it was an emotional moment for his father, a former Jana Sangh leader.
Sawant’s wife, daugther, and his father accompanied him as he called on Modi at Seva Teerth, the Chief Minister’s Office said.
Pandurang Sawant, the chief minister’s father, was a prominent leader of the Jana Sangh, the predcessor of the BJP, in the coastal state.
