Camurlim The body of a man found floating near the Camurlim ferry point in the Chapora River on Monday afternoon has been identified as Rupesh Aasgaonkar, a resident of Bicholim.According to sources, Rupesh had gone to Morjim Beach with his family on Sunday and reportedly went missing while swimming in the sea. His family later filed a missing complaint at Mandrem Police Station after he could not be traced. At around 2:30 pm on Monday, locals spotted a floating body near the Camurlim ferry point and alerted Colvale Police Station and 108 ambulance services. The body was shifted to the District Hospital in Mapusa for further procedures. Police have informed the family members, and further investigation is underway.
