Assam will continue to march ahead on path of development: Goa CM on Sarma’s swearing-in
PANAJI: (May 13) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday congratulated his Assam counterpart Himanta Biswa Sarma on being sworn-in once again to the top post, saying the state will continue to progress and achieve all-round development under his leadership.
Sarma was sworn in as the chief minister of Assam for the second consecutive term on Tuesday, marking the formation of the third BJP-led NDA government in a row in the northeastern state.
Sawant participated in Sarma’s swearing-in ceremony. In a message released after the event, Sawant said the sacred land of Srimanta Sankardeva and Veer Lachit Borphukan will continue to march ahead on the path of all-round development, progress and prosperity.
