SAMEER KUDTARKAR TO HEAD GOA JEWELLERS ASSOCIATION AS NEW BOARD INSTALLED

Mapusa : The Goa Jewellers Association held the installation ceremony of its re-elected board for the new term on May 2, 2026 at Belekar Estate, with Dr. Anand Jagannath Pednekar attending as chief guest.

.Addressing the gathering, Dr. Pednekar lauded the role of the Association in promoting ethical trade practices and supporting the traditional goldsmith community of Goa. He urged the new board to work towards skilling youth and safeguarding consumer interests amid evolving market trends.In his acceptance speech,

President Kudtarkar thanked the members for their continued trust and outlined priorities for the term, including hallmarking awareness, digital adoption for small jewellers, and stronger liaison with government bodies on policy issues. “We aim to make Goa a benchmark for transparency and craftsmanship in the jewellery sector,” he said.

The event saw participation from leading jewellers across the state, industry stakeholders, and family members of the board.
