Free Summer Football Camp for Aldona Children by PACT Foundation & Kick Off Football Schools
MAPUSA: The PACT Foundation, in collaboration with Kick Off Football Schools, will organise a free 9-day Intensive Summer Football Camp exclusively for children from the Aldona constituency, as part of a sports education and empowerment initiative.
The camp is scheduled from May 1 to May 10, 2026, at the Moira Club Ground, with daily sessions from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. It is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years, providing them with an opportunity to engage in structured football training in a professional and encouraging environment.
This initiative aims to strengthen grassroots football while promoting fitness, discipline, and teamwork among young participants. Training sessions of 60–90 minutes daily will be conducted by experienced licensed coaches, focusing on skill development and overall growth.
Participation in the camp is completely free of cost, and registered participants will receive a training kit, medals, certificates, and refreshments. With limited seats available, registrations will close on April 27, 2026.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Ashwin Fernandes said,
“At PACT Foundation, we believe sport is a powerful tool for community development. By offering this free camp specifically for children of the Aldona constituency, we hope to create access, inspire participation, and nurture young talent at the grassroots level.”
Jonas Fernandes, who will lead the coaching programme, added, “This camp is designed to give children a strong foundation in football while also helping them develop discipline, teamwork, and confidence. We are excited to work closely with young players from the Aldona constituency and support their growth through structured training.”
