Mapusa fire service averts a major fire to a Field Near Bastora Panchayat

Mapusa: A field near the Bastora panchayat was gutted in a fire that broke out on Saturday afternoon, prompting swift action by the Mapusa fire station. The incident was reported at 13:51 hrs at Bastora. Fire personnel from Mapusa rushed to the site and brought the blaze under control before it could spread to adjoining areas. The operation was led by Leading Firefighter Shri Suraj Shetgaonkar. No casualties or damage to property were reported.
