Calangute Panchayat Approves ₹32.97 Crore Budget for 2026–27
calangute: The Calangute Panchayat has approved its annual budget of ₹32,97,73,211 for the financial year 2026–27. Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira stated that no new taxes have been imposed in this budget. He emphasized that the focus remains on key sectors such as education, sanitation, garbage management, developmental works, and welfare schemes.
Calling it a “realistic budget,” the Sarpanch highlighted the Panchayat’s commitment to balanced development while maintaining financial stability.
