Mapusa: Mapusa MLA Inspected Mapusa Market to review road conditions, parking, and access ahead of the upcoming hotmixing works for internal roads, the yard, bus stand, and the stretch from Union Pharmacy to Mapusa Urban Bank.
during the inspection It was observed that several roads have become uneven due to repeated works like laying of electricity cables and water pipelines. MLA Also discussed with the Market Committee the ideal time to undertake these works, keeping in mind the desilting of gutters scheduled before the monsoon, which is expected to arrive early this year.
Besides Mapusa MLA also Present were MMC Chief Officer Chandrakant Shetkar, MMC Chairperson Priya Mishal, members of the Mapusa Merchants Association, and shopkeepers.
