Goa receives 1st charter flight from Manchester; 20,000 tourists expected from UK
PANAJI: (Nov 4) Goa on Wednesday welcomed the first TUI-operated charter flight from Manchester for the 2026-27 tourist season, bringing nearly 300 passengers.
The arrival of the flight at Manohar International Airport marks the commencement of this season’s UK charter operations.
Some 20,000 passengers are expected to travel to Goa through Manchester and London Gatwick during the season, tourism minister Rohan A Khaunte said.
