Saligao Gets Its Heritage Back: MLA Kedar Naik Fulfils Long-Pending Demand at Sharvani Temple

Saligao: A long-pending demand of devotees and residents was finally fulfilled with the inauguration of the beautification works of the Shree Sharvani Temple Mandap in Saligao.The project was inaugurated in the presence of Saligao Panchayat members, temple committee members and local residents, marking a moment of pride for the village.

The much-awaited beautification work, long requested by the people of the area, has now been completed.

The renovated mandap is expected to serve devotees during temple festivals, cultural functions, and community gatherings in a cleaner and more dignified setting. Speaking on the occasion, MLA emphasized that the project reflects a commitment to preserving Saligao’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage while continuing to push forward with development works for the betterment of the village. Residents and temple committee members welcomed the initiative, thanking the authorities for completing the project and restoring the traditional space to its former glory. The inauguration saw participation from panchayat members, temple committee members and a large number of local residents.
