CM Sawant at Ravindra Bhavan: Children’s Cinema Takes Centre Stage as Bulbul Film Festival Concludes

MARGAO,:Margao became the capital of children’s cinema on Friday as Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, along with Minister for PWD Shri Digambar Kamat and MLA Shri Ulhas Tuenkar, visited the 4th Edition of the Bulbul Children’s International Film Festival, Goa at Ravindra Bhavan. The festival, organised by the Department of Information and Publicity, has been showcasing specially curated films for and by children from India and abroad, giving young audiences a rare chance to experience world cinema on the big screen. The Chief Minister’s visit on the concluding day of the festival was seen as a strong endorsement of Goa’s growing focus on children’s art, creativity, and cultural education .Officials said the four-day festival featured screenings, interactive sessions, and workshops aimed at encouraging young filmmakers and nurturing a love for meaningful cinema among children.

With Ravindra Bhavan witnessing enthusiastic participation from school children, parents, and film enthusiasts, the festival has carved a unique space in Goa’s cultural calendar.The 4th edition concluded on Friday leaving behind what organisers called its most successful turnout yet.
