If serious Oppn parties come together, BJP will get just 5 seats in 2027 Goa polls: Chodankar
PANAJI: (Oct 3) Goa Congress president Girish Chodankar on Saturday said the ruling BJP will be reduced to five seats in the upcoming assembly polls if all “serious opposition political parties” come together.
Chodankar also said the intention of the Aam Aadmi Party to defeat BJP sounds doubtful, considering the last few instances in states like Haryana.
“Opposition parties must be serious about defeating the BJP. If all the serious opposition parties come together then the BJP will reduced to only five seats in the 40-member assembly,” Chodankar said during the ongoing ‘Goy Rakhon Yatra’ (Save Goa Campaign).
