Delhi CCTV workers’ accident: Dumper driver held, company announces Rs 3 lakh aid for each deceased
NEW DELHI: (Sep 21) The driver of a dumper that allegedly rammed a stationary crane and an auto-rickshaw carrying workers engaged in CCTV installation, killing four people and injuring three, in southeast Delhi has been arrested, while the owner is being interrogated, an official said on Monday.
The company that owned the dumper has also agreed to provide Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the four deceased and Rs 1 lakh each to the two injured.
The accident took place between 2.30-3 am on Sunday near Kalindi Hospital in Sarita Vihar when a Delhi Traffic Police camera-maintenance team was working by the roadside, police said.
