Saligao: In an effort to grow a greener tomorrow, the ManDev Foundation conducted an environmental awareness activity in Saligao, Goa, with the participation of 60 children. During the activity, the children were taught to make seed balls using natural, eco-friendly materials such as clay, soil, compost and different varieties of native seeds. The hands-on session aimed at promoting green cover, enhancing biodiversity and instilling a deeper love for nature among the younger generation.
Volunteers of the Foundation explained the importance of seed balls as a simple and effective method of afforestation, especially in barren and hard-to-reach areas.
“Every seed ball carries the hope of a greener future. Through this simple yet meaningful activity, we want children to become custodians of nature,”said Priya Rathod of Mandev Foundation
