TOURIST DIES AFTER ALLEGEDLY SLIPPING ON VOMIT IN BAGA GUEST HOUSE
Calangute: A 54-year-old tourist from Karnataka died after allegedly slipping on vomit and sustaining injuries inside a guest house room at Baga.According to police, the deceased had been consuming alcohol with his friends before vomiting on the floor of the room. He allegedly slipped on the vomit, fell down and sustained an injury to his nose.After cleaning the room and wiping the blood, he reportedly went to sleep. Later, his friends found him unresponsive and immediately called for an ambulance. He was shifted to the Primary Health Centre, Candolim, where doctors declared him brought dead.The body has been shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim for preservation and completion of medico-legal formalities.Calangute Police have registered a case of unnatural death under Section 194 of the BNSS, 2023.
