Goa recognised as ‘Best Emerging Destination for Spiritual Tourism’ at ITM Amritsar
PANAJI: (Sep 8) Goa Tourism has been recognised as the ‘Best Emerging Destination for Spiritual Tourism’ at India Travel Mart (ITM) Amritsar 2026, an official said on Monday.
It is a recognition of the state’s efforts to diversify beyond its traditional beach identity and promote emerging spiritual, wellness, heritage and experiential tourism offerings, he added.
The three-day travel mart, held from September 5 to 7 in Amritsar, brought together tourism boards, airlines, hospitality players, travel agents, tour operators and other stakeholders from across the region.
