ASSONORA POET WINS STATE-LEVEL HONOUR FOR MARATHI POETRY

Valpoi: Mr. Vijaysinh Ajgaonkar, known for his poetic soul and literary passion, has brought laurels to Assonora by securing the Third Prize in the State Level Marathi Poetry Writing Competition (Open Category).The competition was organized by the Gomantak Marathi Sahitya Parishad, Valpoi, Sattari-Goa, which saw participation from poets across the state.Mr. Ajgaonkar was felicitated at a special prize distribution ceremony, where the award was presented at the hands of Prof. Madhav Satvani, a renowned Goan poet and literary figure. The organizers and literary fraternity have congratulated Mr. Ajgaonkar for his achievement and for enriching Marathi literature with his poetic contribution.
