Mapusa MLA Inaugurates First Phase of Cunchelim Zor Rejuvenation Project to Preserve Traditional Water Source
Mapusa: The rejuvenation of the traditional Zor in Cunchelim is an important project now entering its first phase, taking forward the concerns and suggestions raised by the residents of the area. For generations, the Zor has been a valuable water source for the local people. The project will focus on improving and renovating the existing spring, with a dividing wall to prevent cross-contamination and safeguard the water source.
With the support and cooperation of the Forest Department, Water Resources Department and residents of Cunchelim, this initiative is now moving ahead. It is a step towards preserving a traditional water source that has served generations and ensuring its continued benefit in the years to come” said Mapusa MLA Joshua dsouza
