100 Students from Mapusa’s G.S. Amonkar School Witness Goa Assembly Proceedings

Mapusa: 100 students from G.S. Amonkar School, Mapusa, visited the Goa Legislative Assembly and witnessed the live proceedings of the Fourteenth Session of the Eighth Goa Legislative Assembly chaired by Deputy Speaker Joshua De Souza.

During the visit, the students observed the Question Hour, closely followed the discussions on matters concerning the people and the State, and interacted to understand the roles and responsibilities of elected representatives and the legislative process. The visit helped the students connect their classroom learning with the real functioning of our democratic institutions and inspired them to become informed and responsible citizens.
