WRD to Repair Dilapidated Duler Culvert Inspection by Deputy Speaker Joshua De Souza
MAPUSA: Heeding to long-standing demands of local residents, Deputy Speaker and Mapusa MLA Joshua De Souza on Saturday inspected the dilapidated culvert at Duler, Mapusa.
The structure, which posed serious safety and hygiene risks to commuters and nearby residents, will be taken up for urgent repairs by the Water Resources Department (WRD) from tomorrow. The repair work is scheduled to be completed within 15-20 days. The MLA has directed officials to ensure minimal inconvenience to the public and to prioritize public safety during the execution of work.
