Porvorim 6-Lane Flyover Ready to Bring Relief to Commuters: Mapusa MLA

Mapusa : The newly completed 5.15-km Porvorim 6-lane flyover is set to bring major relief to commuters travelling between Mapusa and Panjim.Mapusa MLA visited the landmark project on saturday and said that seeing the project ready to serve the people was a truly encouraging and proud moment for Goa. For years, Porvorkars and Mhapshekars have faced severe congestion on this stretch. The flyover will ensure smoother journeys, better connectivity and reduced travel time for those travelling for work, school and daily needs. The improved traffic flow will make the daily commute from Mapusa to Panjim much easier and convenient, he said.

The MLA credited the project to the strong support of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari for his commitment to strengthening Goa’s infrastructure. He also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant for his leadership and to Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte for his support and efforts.

For Goa, this is a step forward in building infrastructure that keeps pace with the needs of a growing state, he added, noting that when the Centre and State work together with a clear vision, progress becomes visible on the ground – a testament to the Double-Engine Sarkaar
