Mapusa: Mand Foundation celebrated the beautiful festival of Raksha Bandhan with immense joy and enthusiasm. Our young girls and boys came together to participate in this sacred tradition, where they were not just tying threads but also learning about the deep-rooted culture and legacy behind this festival. Through this event, we aimed to transcend the ordinary—explaining that Raksha Bandhan is more than just a ritual; it is a celebration of the bond of protection, respect, and unconditional love. It was wonderful to see the children engaging with the customs, understanding the values of duty and care that define our Indian heritage.
