Goa’s EDC records Rs 128 crore revenue; Sawant hails role in entrepreneurial growth

Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired the 409th Board Meeting of EDC Limited, where several key policy and financial decisions were taken, including the sanctioning of term loans.
The Board approved the consolidated financials for FY 2025–26, with revenues of around ₹128 crore and profits of approximately ₹69 crore.

Appreciated the EDC team and officers for their continued efforts in strengthening Goa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.  CM also reviewed the recently amended Mukhyamantri Modified Interest Rebate Scheme, which includes an additional 5% rebate for solar projects and an additional rebate of up to ₹15 lakh for loans under the Working Capital Term Loan Scheme. The Easy Exit Scheme for CMRY borrowers will further support eligible entrepreneurs of failed businesses by allowing repayment of the principal within two years, with applicable interest waived
