Turning oceanographic knowledge into practical guidance, the application has been developed through scientific research led by Prof. Harilal B. Menon and his research team, with Dr. Arjun Adhikari playing an important role. It combines satellite observations, oceanographic information and advanced data analysis to provide guidance on Potential Fishing Zones, with the aim of helping fishermen spend less time searching for fish, reduce fuel consumption and operational costs, improve the possibility of a productive catch and return home earlier and more safely.
