ECO CLUB ACTIVITIES – ST. THOMAS BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL ALDONA
Aldona: The Eco Club of St. Thomas Boys’ High School, Aldona continues to promote environmental awareness and conservation through series of activities that encourages students to appreciate and protect nature.
As part of its green initiatives, the club organized Tree plantation in the school campus and initiated a vegetable Garden Project during which students sowed a variety of vegetable seeds within the school premises.
To deepen their understanding of the natural world, students participated in a Bird watching and Biodiversity walk where they observed local bird species, butterflies, insects and native plants in their natural habitat.
The initiative encouraged students to develop a sense of environmental responsibility and a deeper appreciation for nature.
