Goa Launches Capacity Building Workshop To Strengthen Sports Science And Athlete Development

Mapusa: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the three-day Capacity Building Workshop on Applied Sports Science, “Bridging Science & Sports,” at Dayanand Bandodkar Krida Sankul Indoor Stadium, Peddem, Mapusa, Goa.

The workshop is organised by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa, the workshop aims to strengthen scientific coaching practices and enhance athlete development through evidence-based sports science. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar, Director of Sports & Youth Affairs and Executive Director of the Sports Authority of Goa, Dr. Ajay Gaude, along with other distinguished guests.
