Shack Owners Welfare Society-Goa Elects New Executive Committee for 2026–2029
Calangute: The Shack Owners Welfare Society-Goa (SOWS-Goa) conducted its Executive Committee elections on Saturday at the Community Hall, Calangute, to elect office bearers for the 2026–2029 term.
Mr. Cruz Cardozo was elected as President, while Mr. Shridhar Goltekar was chosen as Vice President. Mr. John Lobo was elected General Secretary and Mr. Inacio Fernandes as Joint General Secretary. The newly elected office bearers also include Mr. Cyril Silveira as Treasurer, Mr. Moses M. Fernandes as Joint Treasurer, and Mr. Sebastian D’Souza as Legal Advisor. The Executive Members elected are Domnic Afonso, Vidhyadhar Dhabolkar, Jose Paulo Silveira, Ganesh Govekar, Sandeep Morje, Kevin Fernandes, Russell Lobo, Vinicius Fernandes, Domingo Souza, Prajay Magan Kalekar, Clara D’Souza, and Ronald Fernandes.
The elections were held peacefully, with members expressing confidence that the newly elected committee will work towards the welfare and development of shack owners across Goa.
