Goa Cricket Association Senior Men’s Team Departs for International Practice Tour to Oman
panaji: The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Senior Men’s Team is all set to embark on an international practice tour of Oman from 8th to 18th August, marking an important phase in the team’s preparations for the upcoming domestic cricket season.
The tour will provide the players with valuable match practice and exposure through a series of competitive fixtures against strong opposition in Oman. It is expected to help the squad build momentum, enhance team combinations, and fine-tune their performances ahead of the season.
The touring squad includes Snehal Kauthankar, Manthan Khutkar, Darshan Misal, Mohit Redkar, Deepraj Gaonkar, Shubham Tari, Vikash, Chigurupati Venkata, Abhinav Tejrana, Yash Kasvankar, Shivendra Bhujbal, Suyash Prabhudessai, Sanath Nevagi, Chittem Jeevankumar, Kaushik V., and Felix Alemao.
The support staff comprises Head Coach Dinesh Mongia, Bowling Coach Janapareddy Krishna Rao, Physio Keegan Menezes, Trainer Ninad Pawaskar, Video Analyst Amir Shetye, Team Manager Siddhesh Salunke, while GCA Vice President Paresh Fadte is also part of the touring contingent.
Before the team’s departure, the players extended their best wishes by President Mahesh Dessai, Secretary Tulshidas Shetye, Treasurer Abdul Majid, along with the entire Managing Committee who encouraged the players to represent Goa with pride, discipline, and sportsmanship.
