“Safe & Seen” Campaign Launched in Mapusa to Strengthen Child Rights Protection in Schools*
Mapusa MLA Joshua dsouza Had an insightful session with all the Heads of Educational Institutions and Faculty Members from HSS and SSC schools across Mapusa as part of the “Safe & Seen” campaign, in collaboration with SCAN Goa, aimed at strengthening the Child Rights Protection mechanism in Mapusa.
The interaction focused on understanding the challenges faced by children today and exploring effective ways to enhance awareness, prevention, empower voices and support systems through educational institutions.
The session highlighted the crucial role of schools and educators in creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
Through this “Safe & Seen” campaign, we aim to empower institutions with the right knowledge and resources to address child safety concerns, promote awareness on child rights, and build a stronger framework that ensures the protection, dignity, and well-being of every child in Mapusa.
