Mapusa Comes Together in Faith as 6th Jagannath Rath Yatra Draws Massive Crowd
MAPUSA: Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza attended the 6th Annual Jagannath Rath Yatra in Mapusa on Friday joining the devotees in prayers to Lord Jagannath
Addressing the gathering, D’Souza said it was “heartening to witness devotees coming together in an atmosphere of unwavering faith, devotion, and spiritual unity.”
He prayed that Lord Jagannath’s blessings bring “peace, strength, prosperity, and happiness to every family” and guide society toward “unity, compassion, and a brighter future for all.
”The Rath Yatra saw large participation from across Bardez, with devotees pulling the chariot through the streets amid bhajans and rituals.
