Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress Participates in ‘Chalo Dilli Andolan’ Demanding Immediate Implementation of Nari Vandana Adhiniyam.
Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress President Dr. Pratiksha Khalap, along with the office bearers of the Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress, participated in the “Chalo Dilli Andolan” organized by the All India Mahila Congress at Indira Bhavan in New Delhi, demanding the immediate implementation of the Nari Vandana Adhiniyam.
The protest witnessed the participation of thousands of women from across the country, who united to urge the Central Government to implement the Women’s Reservation Act without any further delay. The gathering emphasized that the legislation, which promises 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies, must be brought into effect immediately instead of being postponed indefinitely.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pratiksha Khalap stated that the Nari Vandana Adhiniyam represents the aspirations of millions of women who seek equal representation in decision-making and governance.
The Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress reaffirmed its commitment to continue raising its voice until the Women’s Reservation Act is implemented, ensuring greater political empowerment and equal opportunities for women across India.
