Angod Drain in Mapusa Covered, Safety Improved Following MLA’s Review of Works
Mapusa: Safety concerns raised by residents over an open drain have been addressed with the completion of covering works in the area.The site was visited to review the finished drainage work and interact with local residents on the improvements. Officials along with Mapusa MLA said the covered drain will now reduce risks for residents and passersby, especially during monsoons.
Residents welcomed the intervention and shared feedback on other local civic issues.“Development is strengthened through regular follow-ups and timely action. Efforts will continue to ensure civic infrastructure is maintained and local issues are addressed promptly,” the MLA said . he further added that similar inspections and maintenance drives will be carried out across other areas to prevent recurring problems.
