Goa Governor Attends Telangana, West Bengal Foundation Day, Extends Aid To Patient
Dona Paula: Goa Governor Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju attended the Foundation Day celebrations of Telangana and West Bengal held at Lok Bhavan here on Monday.The event marked the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”, celebrating the culture, heritage and contributions of the two states. Dignitaries, members of the Telugu and Bengali communities in Goa, and government officials were present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor highlighted the unity in diversity of India and the importance of preserving the rich traditions of every state. He said such celebrations help strengthen the bond between different regions and communities living in Goa.Financial aid for patients On the occasion, the Governor also distributed financial assistance to dialysis and cancer patients as part of the state’s welfare outreach. Beneficiaries and their families expressed gratitude for the support extended by Raj Bhavan. Raju interacted with the patients and assured them of continued support from the administration in providing healthcare assistance to those in need. The Foundation Day programme featured cultural performances showcasing the folk music, dance and traditions of Telangana and West Bengal, drawing appreciation from the audience. Senior officials of the Governor’s Secretariat and representatives of various community organizations were also present.
