Prompt Action by Mapusa Fire Brigade After Tree Falls On Building Near Mayura Hotel
Mapusa: A large tree collapsed on a building near Mayura Hotel in Morod, Mapusa at around 10:59 AM today, raising concerns about public safety in the densely populated area. Fire and emergency personnel from Mapusa Fire Station, led by Leading Firefighter Shri Vishnu Gawas, rushed to the spot immediately and secured the area to prevent any further damage or injury to residents and passersby. Officials said no casualties were reported in the incident. The fire team carried out clearance work and ensured the fallen tree was removed safely from the building. The quick response by the fire brigade helped avert a bigger mishap and ensured normalcy was restored in the area at the earliest.
