Lions Club & Leo Club of Calangute Install New Presidents for 2026-27

Calangute: The 53rd Installation Ceremony of the Lions Club of Calangute and Leo Club of Calangute was held recently, with Lion Chandrakant Pathak and Leo Khwaish Fatima installed as Presidents for the Lionistic Year 2026–27. The installation was conducted by Installing Officer PDG PMJF Lion Vasudev Valawalkar. During the ceremony, two new Lions and two new Leo members were inducted by Induction Officer Past District Governor PMJF Lion Saish Lawande. In his acceptance speech, President Lion Chandrakant Pathak pledged to serve society and uphold the ideals of Lionism. The club also honoured meritorious students, while PMJF Lion Michael Mascarenhas proposed the vote of thanks.
