CM Sawant Launches Mukhyamantri Sukanya Kaushal Vikas Protsahan Yojana for Girls’ Skill Push
PANAJI: In a major push for girls’ empowerment, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Wednesday announced the launch of the Mukhyamantri Sukanya Kaushal Vikas Protsahan Yojana. The scheme aims to promote skill development among girls and young women in Goa, equipping them with vocational training and encouraging self-reliance. While details of eligibility, financial support, and training modules are awaited, the CM said the initiative will strengthen women’s participation in the state’s workforce.
“Goa is committed to skilling its daughters for aatmanirbhar futures,” Dr. Sawant said while announcing the scheme.
The Mukhyamantri Sukanya Kaushal Vikas Protsahan Yojana adds to the state’s existing women-centric initiatives and is expected to be implemented through the Directorate of Skill Development.
