Mapusa MLA Inspects Angod Drain Works; Orders Immediate Closure of Open Sections
Mapusa: Mapusa MLA and Dy. Speaker Joshua De Souza reviewed the ongoing drain works in Angod following concerns raised regarding open drainage sections during the monsoon season.
The visit was carried out to assess the progress of the work and ensure necessary safety measures are maintained for residents and passersby. It was also observed that certain portions of the drains had been left open during the course of the work, causing inconvenience and safety concerns in the area. Instructions have been issued for the work to be completed and the open sections to be properly closed immediately for public safety.
