Goa U-19 Team Set for Interstate Multi-Day Tournament 2026
PANAJI: The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has announced its Under-19 squad for the upcoming Interstate Multi-Day Tournament 2026, organised by the Pondicherry Cricket Association. The tournament will be held in Pondicherry from July 1 to July 10, 2026, with teams from across the country competing for top honours.
The Goa team will be led by Afridsab Rajakkanawar, while Aradhya Goyal has been named vice-captain.
The selected squad comprises:
Afridsab Rajakkanawar (Captain), Aaditya Kota, Aradhya Goyal (Vice-Captain), Swapnesh Naik, Mohit Yadav, Vinit Kamat, Arman Nadaf, Shaunak Teli, Sai Naik (Wicketkeeper), Vishmay Falgaonkar (Wicketkeeper), Mihir Kudalkar, Jay Kanguri, Om Khandolkar, Sanchit Naik, Sairaj Naik, Govind Sawal, Tanesh Tendulkar, Kedar Dessai and Vedant Dabral.
Ahead of the tournament, the players participated in a photo session with GCA Secretary Tulshidas Shetye, Treasurer Abdul Majid and Junior Director Sharad Pednekar, who conveyed their best wishes to the team.
Former Ranji Trophy cricketer and GCA President Mahesh Dessai, along with the entire Managing Committee, also extended their best wishes to the players and support staff, expressing confidence that the team will perform to the best of its abilities and make Goa proud in the prestigious tournament.
The Goa Cricket Association wishes the team every success and hopes they return with the championship trophy.
