GUJ Polls 2026-28: Uncontested President Race, 17 Candidates in Fray for 10 Executive Committee Seats
Panaji: Returning Officer Jamaluddin Shaikh received a total of seven nominations for the post of executive committee members on the third and final day of nominations for elections to the Goa Union of Journalists (GUJ) executive committee for the term 2026-2028.
A single nomination was received for the post of GUJ President on the third and concluding day.
With this, the total number of nominations for the post of President is 1 (one) and the total number of nominations for ten posts of the GUJ executive committee is 17 (seventeen).
After scrutiny, all nominations were found to be valid. They were all accepted.
