*SANKHALI*: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant engaged directly with citizens from across the State to address their issues and grievances at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali, reinforcing the government’s commitment to transparent and accessible governance.
The interaction saw residents from various talukas present their concerns before the CM, ranging from civic infrastructure, health services, land matters, and social welfare schemes. Dr. Sawant patiently heard each grievance and assured prompt redressal through the concerned departments.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said such outreach programmes are aimed at bridging the gap between government and people. He stressed that timely resolution of citizen issues remains a top priority for his administration and urged officials present to act swiftly on complaints raised during the session.
“Good governance means being available to the people and solving their problems at the earliest. These interactions help us understand ground realities and ensure schemes reach the last person,” Dr. Sawant said.
Senior government officials, department heads and local MLAs were present to take note of the issues and coordinate immediate follow-up action. Several cases were resolved on the spot, while others were marked for departmental review with clear timelines.
