Pre-monsoon rains predicted in Goa till June 8; fishermen advised not to venture into sea
PANAJI: June 5 The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast moderate pre-monsoon showers in Goa from June 5 (Friday) to June 8, and advised fishermen not to venture into the sea.
In a bulletin posted on its website, the IMD said moderate rainfall is likely over the North and South Goa districts from June 5 to June 8.
The weather department has also predicted thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and gusty winds between 40 kmph and 50 kmph.
