Mapusa Fire services Clears Tree Fallen on Car at Anjuna’s Starco Junction

Mapusa: A tree came down on a parked car near Starco Junction, Anjuna late on Wednesday night

The incident was reported at 23:36 hrs. A fire team from Mapusa Fire Station rushed to the spot under the leadership of Leading Firefighter Shahid M. Khan. On arrival, the team found a tree had collapsed onto a vehicle near Starco Junction. Using cutting equipment, the fire personnel cleared the tree and secured the area to prevent further hazard. No injuries were reported. Fire officials said quick action ensured traffic movement was restored and the damaged vehicle was made accessible for removal. The cause of the tree fall is yet to be ascertained.
