Union MoS Athawale Reviews Central Welfare Schemes in Goa, Stresses ‘Inclusive Growth’ under PM Modi
Panaji: Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment, Shri. Ramdas Athawale reviewed the implementation of various welfare schemes of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment with officials of Goa Government at State Secretariat, Porvorim, Goa.
The Minister also addressed a press conference and highlighted the Government of India’s commitment towards social justice, empowerment and inclusive development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Major schemes including PM-AJAY, SMILE, SHRESHTA, NAMASTE, DDRS and scholarship schemes for students were reviewed during the meeting. Director, Social Welfare, Dipak Bandekar and other officials were also present.
